这首歌是游戏公司EA Sports 1998年发布的足球游戏 《World Cup 98 世界杯98》的主题曲。记得游戏发布那天，我走进一家电脑城，所有摊位的电脑上都在放着游戏的开场动画，而所有音箱里面传出来的伴随动画的音乐就是这首歌。当时我迅速被这首热力四射的音乐吸引了。
随着音乐刚开始的悠扬男声合唱，画面是一个绿茵场上足球的特写。远处一个模糊的人影用慢动作向足球跑来，当他的脚触球的瞬间，音乐也随之激昂高亢……让所有球迷对在当时即将正式开演的98法国世界杯充满想象和期待！

Chumbawamba乐队简介:
Chumbawamba这个名字很怪，音乐中流露出强烈的政治意识让很多人望而却步。直到1998年法国世界杯期间的那首*的"足球流氓"歌曲《Tubthumping》才使Chumbawamba成名，说明这支1984年成立于英国利兹的乐队在十多年后才为世界所知。
在过去出的唱片中，他们嘲讽、稀落、挖苦过的对象有英国首相布莱尔、美国总统克林顿、微软总裁比尔·盖茨、U2的Bono、Hole乐队的Courtney Love、迪斯尼、互联网、麦当劳、耶稣·基督以及西方社会各种社会问题及丑恶现象……总之，在Chumbawamba得眼中就没有什么顺眼的事。尽管他们带有点极端左翼倾向，但在西方人看来，不过是一群无政府主义分子罢了。
很难想象，在他们其实已经很流行的演绎手法、很悦耳的轻快旋律下唱的都是这么一些东西。Chumbawamba的音乐有些80年代舞曲的遗风和朋克的风骨，吉它永远是清爽型的，没什么技巧，也没什么狂躁，键盘也是很抒情悦耳的，同时还有些Ska、乡村音乐、民歌Hip-Hop的成分，但他们的音乐方向很清晰，不在音乐方面做过多的实验，男女主唱轮流演唱，说唱与和声交相呼应，构成Chumbawamba音乐最美的一面。
